Travis has been actively involved in real estate for 16 years and has both brokered and invested in nearly every property type, including homes, retail and industrial real estate as well as apartments. he has co-owned and co-managed approximately 130 apartment units in Marin County as well as individual condominiums in Berkeley and San Francisco. He has also managed construction projects. His completed transactions total over $300 million, including over $70 million in financing as well as properties valued at $65 million that he acquired as an investor through various partnerships he has formed. He has lived in San Francisco and the Bay Area for 30 years.
Travis brings all of this experience to bear in negotiating and completing every property purchase or sale. He has been highly successful in property searches; extensive transaction management, or effective navigation through due diligence inspections and negotiation of various issues that often arise unexpectedly; valuation of many property types in numerous areas; and origination and structuring of a wide variety of financing instruments.
Travis believes that use of technology is critical for the effective presentation and marketing of real estate. He leverages his substantial history in technology to thoroughly market and effectively present the properties that his clients wish to sell. His background includes the founding and growth of Sight Design, a website design company, as well as sales management positions with two real estate technology start-ups.
Travis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Finance from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, CA, class of 1991.
